This is a magnificent painting. It is unbeliveably detailed. They call it "Madonna". The lady is holding in her arms a rose stem and a cross with Jesus Christ on it. Christ is pinned up as he was when he was Crucifide. She has light brown eyes and a scarf over her head. The kind that nuns wear but it is blue and she has on a light brownish bronze robe. In the background is just all bronze coloring. The framing is done beautifully. It is a brownish red color and is very smooth. Although the painting is behind glass I belive that the glass has been replaced and there has been a new back cover put on. This is it`s original frame. It creates a scenary of life in a way and is also mellow with calmness. The framing is wood.
