| Pen and ink drawing signed Dali 1975, 13 7/8" x 10 7/8", possibly "King Marc - Wagner’s Opera, Tristan & Isolde". Authenticated on reverse by the ART SOCIETY OF LONDON on July 17, 1977. What does not show in the images is the embossing on the lower right recto of a crown above the letters DALI. The gold frame measures 22 1/2" x 19 1/2"; the mat is silk, about 2 1/2" wide with 1/4" gold trim. The drawing is in perfect condition, beautifully framed, no fading or yellowing. PROVENENCE: Purchased in 1979 from a reputable New York gallery that is still in business. |
