Circle of Lawrence - possibly an incomplete commission of Sir Thomas Lawrence who died in 1830, and whose effects and unfinished pictures were sold at auction after his death. The dress appears to be of a different period and pigment.
Antique carved period frame has minor damage. Small damage repaired in the lower part of the dress. No other known repairs. New support.
